Charles Goodman, CEO
Charles Goodman, CEO, has been in the real estate business as an owner/investor/property manager since 1976, when he acquired a 5-unit apartment complex in the S.E. Heights of Albuquerque. He and his wife still own this complex today. Charles and his family also own more than 15 additional properties which include vacant land, single family residential, and commercial real estate. Outside of real estate, Charles has a financial consulting practice providing access to high net worth individuals on asset allocation and risk management. Charles and his two sons are proud Eagle Scouts.
Diane Goodman, President
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Diane has lived in New Mexico for 29 years, and has been proud to call Santa Fe home since 1982. Diane is the owner and president of RPM Inc. dba/Kokopelli, and has been a licensed New Mexico Real Estate Associate Broker since 1997. Prior to her involvement in real estate, Diane had careers in teaching and public health nutrition. In addition to the family real estate in New Mexico, Diane also shares ownership of her family farm in central Wisconsin. Diane is the proud mother of two Eagle scouts and her hobbies include pilates, cooking, and travel.
Brant Goodman, COO
Brant Goodman was born in Albuquerque, but has called Santa Fe his home for the past 25 years. He graduated from St. Michael's High School and attended San Antonio's Trinity University where he received a BS in Finance with minors in Economics and Spanish. Brant has served the Santa Fe community as an Eagle Scout, and is actively involved on the Rotary board as the International Director. Brant has worked for Kokopelli since September 2004. He began as a property manager, was quickly promoted to Leasing Director, and is now the Chief Operations Officer. Brant also serves as the Qualifying Broker for Kokopelli's Taos office.
Jason Couillard, CFO
Born and raised in central Illinois, Jason and his wife relocated to Santa Fe in 2000. He is the Chief Financial Officer of Kokopelli, as well as a Certified Public Accountant and investment consultant with more than seven years experience in business. As a licensed Realtor, Jason adds a depth of knowledge and service to Kokopelli. He holds B.S. Degrees in both Financial Accounting and Business Information Systems. Jason is Treasurer of the Santa Fe Downtown Kiwanis Club and Foundation, and is a board member to both the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation and the St. Vincent Hospital Audit Committee. Jason enjoys skiing, playing the piano, cooking, traveling, and playing with his three cats.
Chris Sparno, Associate Broker, REALTOR
Chris was born and raised in New York, attended college at Swarthmore, and has a B.S. in Business Management. He moved to southern California in 1987 where he met his wife and enjoyed a career in high tech sales and management for Apple Computer (among other things). He has nearly 20 years experience in both IT and general management positions at several Fortune 500 companies. Chris is actively licensed in three states: New Mexico, California and Florida. He is the Marketing, Creative and IT Director for Kokopelli and is also a part of the Kokopelli Santa Fe Real Estate sales team. Chris is active on the local board of Realtors, enjoys all things Disney and contributes some of his time and energy to the Make A Wish Foundation. Professional designations held include ePro and AHWD certifications from the National Association of Realtors.
Donna Hurst, Property Manager
Donna is a Southern California native of 50 years, and has been a property manager in Santa Fe for 15 years. She has two adult children and two lovely granddaughters. She has many interests which occupy her time outside of work. As a long-term property manager for Kokopelli, she enjoys her work and takes great care of her tenants and owners.
Gail Flanagan, Real Estate Assistant
Gail was born and raised in Vermont, and moved to Santa Fe in 2000. A professional Girl Scout for 21 years, she served as the assistant executive director to the Girl Scouts – Vermont Council, and as the assistant executive director and the CEO of the Girl Scouts Sangre de Cristo Council in northeastern New Mexico. Retired from Girl Scouting, Gail now works as the Sales Assistant and Office Administrator for Kokopelli. Gail has three daughters and four grandchildren. She loves being with her grandchildren, her Cocker Spaniel Wags, hiking, gardening, reading, and traveling.
Marilyn Proctor, Director of Vacation Rentals, Santa Fe
Ms. Proctor was born and raised in New York and relocated to Santa Fe in 1973 where she met her husband Daryl. Together they have raised three beautiful daughters and are happy to call Santa Fe their home. Marilyn has worked in property management for the past 27 years, and has owned and operated a property management firm specializing in exclusive short term rentals. Recognized as the leader in high end vacation rentals in the City of Santa Fe, Marilyn joined the Kokopelli firm in October 2006. Her experience with the film industry since 1985 has placed many high profile guests in rental properties. The guest list includes Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Carol Burnett, Martin Sheen, Kevin Costner, Dennis Quaid, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Ron Howard, Cate Blanchett to name a few. However, you don't have to be famous to have Marilyn's full attention. She can accommodate your needs, from small casitas to grand luxury properties, with the wide variety of inventory at Kokopelli. When not working, Marilyn enjoys visiting with her daughters, actively supporting St. Michael's High School athletics and volunteering with the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce.
Ronda Doss, Quality Assurance Manager
Ronda joined Kokopelli Property Management in January 2007, bringing nine years of real estate experience, three of which were dedicated to the vacation rental industry. Ronda has worked closely with Marilyn Proctor, proving what an awesome team the two of them make. Ronda adores the City Different and plans to retire here so she can continue to enjoy the culture and climate. She has a wonderful husband, and a 17 year old son. In her spare time you will find her planting flowers, playing with her five dogs, entertaining family and friends, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Sandee Bozynski, Department Assistant
Sandee was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Santa Fe in 2006. For most of her career she was an elementary school teacher, but after three years of being Principal/Teacher in a ‘one room school’ in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she retired from that idea. Sandee has enjoyed a wide variety of other professional endeavors. She was a guide in her own outdoor adventure business, had an organic herb farm and sold cooking herbs and created herbal products, and was a librarian. Currently Sandee is a certified energy worker and PsychK Practitioner. All of these positions are customer service orientated, and Sandee enjoys that. She came to Santa Fe to have the adventure of exploring the Southwest- its desert, pueblos, rocks, hot springs, fiestas etc.
Baro Shalizi, Qualifying Broker
Baro received his Bachelors Degree in Languages from Brandies University in Boston and his Masters in International Law & International Business from The American University in Washington, D.C. Prior to moving to Santa Fe, he worked as Assistant Editor for UNICEF in New York City and later in advertising with Young & Rubicam, NY. Baro began his real estate career as a property manager and has been a Realtor for the past 14 years. In 1999, he opened his own Brokerage, Shalizi Real Estate. Baro serves as President for the Board of Directors, Santa Fe Association of Realtors (SFAR); has served as member of the MLS, Government Affairs, Education, Grievance and Pro-Standard Committees for SFAR, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Realtors Association of New Mexico (RANM). He is past Chair of the Forms Committee for RANM and is one of 22 alumni of Leadership RANM. In addition, he sits on the Education Steering Committee for the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. At this time, Baro holds the following designations: ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative,CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist, CRS – Certified Residential Specialist, GRI – Graduate Real Estate Institute. He is also in the process of obtaining his designation as a CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment Manager. Baro is very involved in the community, and has volunteered with several groups: The Volunteer Involvement Service and Leadership Santa Fe Alumni Association, Foundation for Indian Leadership and the Santa Fe Community Theatre, Capitol City Jaycees, Cultural Affairs Committee, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Advisory Group, and Sangre de Cristo Animal Protection Center. He currently serves on the Boards of Moving People Dance Theatre, Compassion Beyond Borders, and the Laguna Education Foundation.
Bonnie Golden, Vacation Rental Director (Taos)
Managing properties since 1997, Bonnie Golden is an Associate Broker REALTOR specializing in Property Management. Golden has made Northern New Mexico her home for 25 years. She was drawn to the myriad of outdoor activities available and was ready for a change of pace from working as an executive for Fortune 500's Levi Strauss & Co. and Polaroid Corp. Now whenever she has extra time you'll find Golden and her partner Beau, who is a specialty home builder, hiking, biking, back country skiing and snowshoeing with their rescue dogs, Novio and Louie.
Amber Archuleta, Reservation Specialist (Taos)
Amber is a lifelong resident of Northern New Mexico and during the last five years has become a specialist in vacation rental reservations and guest services. She is also an expert in dealing with tenant concerns and she enjoys the fast paced environment of property management. Amber's biggest joy in life is her five year old son Nathan. When not working, Amber and Nathan enjoy visits to the museum, library, the zoo, as well as trips to Disneyland and Sea World.
Michelangelo Stanchi, Broker
Michelangelo moved to Santa Fe in 1995 from Valenza, Italy. After buying and selling several properties for personal investment, he decided to make a career for himself in the real estate industry. As a successful custom jeweler, Michelangelo has developed his natural talent of listening into a fine art. He is very receptive to the needs of his clients, and is fluent in several languages, including Spanish, Italian, French, and English. Michelangelo's goal is to expand his area of expertise into the international real estate market. In particular, he wants to assist out of state and foreign real estate buyers with finding that special "gem" in New Mexico. Don Hurst, Controller
Born and raised in the suburbs north of Los Angeles, Don has a broad base of experience ranging from retail management, automotive trades, television and broadcasting, insurance investigations, and for the last ten years, property management and related trust accounting. He has enjoyed living in Santa Fe for nearly 12 years.
Anna McNair, Property Manager
Anna has recently joined the team of leasing professionals at Kokopelli Property Management. After traveling and working in Latin America for over 10 years, Anna now makes Santa Fe her home bringing with her over ten years of client-service oriented experience as well as an eye for detail.
Marnie Lovato, Property Manager
Marnie is a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and brings over 12 years of Real Estate experience to the Kokopelli team. She earned her Real Estate license in 1997 and joined the long term department in December of 2007. Marnie has two beautiful daughters and a fabulous boyfriend and she enjoys hiking, gardening, volleyball, and spending time with her family in her free time.
Brenda L. Wakefield, Receptionist
Born in Northern California and raised in Chicago, Brenda has been a resident of Santa Fe for fifteen years. She worked as a receptionist for a mortgage company for ten years and is now part of the Kokopelli family. Brenda is married with three sons, and two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. In her spare time, she is involved with her church and enjoys spending time with her family and at the gym.
Beverly Leeson, Long Term Assistant
Beverly is a native of the Pacific Northwest until transplanted to Santa Fe one year ago. She has spent the past seven plus years as a Management Consultant specializing in Office Management, Customer Service, and Software Training. Beverly is the proud mother of two grown sons still residing in Oregon. She enjoys visiting them but now understands the benefits of living in 330 days of sunshine. Embracing her new community, Beverly explores her creative side with painting and writing, and also enjoys outdoor activities, music and travel. When not working, she holds a special love of gardening and renovating the home she shares with her significant other.
